Job Description:

Lincoln Cornhill is currently working with a reputable housing provider in London to source an interim Head of Asset Management on an initial four-month contract. The position is due to start immediately, with a pay rate of around £500 - £600 a day outside IR35.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing comprehensive Asset Management services, including planned cyclical and major works, and responsive repairs.
• Delivering the organisation's Asset Management Strategy.
• Managing disrepair cases from claim to settlement, handling reputational risk.
• Providing effective damp and mould case management.
• Creating a service environment focused on excellent customer service, developing a skilled, motivated workforce.
• Embedding continuous review and improvement culture, encouraging innovation.
• Providing professional and strategic advice on property-related matters to stakeholders.
• Managing property requirements, including construction, surveying, engineering, and compliance.
• Participating in the organisation’s Management Team and driving corporate strategy.

Experience and skills required:

• Relevant building qualification or membership of a professional body (RICS, GB, IOSH).
• Extensive experience in property and asset management in a similar organisation.
• Experience managing building and M&E contractors.
• Proven ability to manage repairs and maintenance budgets effectively.
