Job summary

Hartpury University and Hartpury College is seeking an experienced Head of Applications to lead and shape Hartpury's application services, ensuring they support an exceptional experience for staff and students. The role reports to Digital Services and offers hybrid working arrangements with a permanent contract.

The successful candidate will steer digital innovation, drive service improvements and deliver secure, reliable technology solutions aligned with Hartpury's strategic objectives.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in a senior Applications, Digital or IT leadership role.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for Hartpury's application services and systems portfolio.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders across academic and professional service areas.
• Drive continuous improvement and innovation through technology-enabled solutions.
• Ensure applications remain secure, reliable and fit for future organisational needs.
• Manage a varied portfolio of projects, enhancements and service developments.
• Lead and develop a skilled, customer-focused Applications Team.
• Collaborate across Digital Services to support Hartpury's wider digital strategy.
