Job summary

Schroders, a global investment manager, seeks a high-calibre Head of Analysis & Design to lead our Public Markets Analysis & Design capability within the Asset Management Platform. You will bridge business strategy with solution design and technology delivery, ensuring investment platforms deliver measurable value and adhere to enterprise standards.

You will build and lead a senior team of Analysts, embedding business analysis, architecture and product thinking across research, portfolio

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading Business Analysis, Analysis & Design or related functions within a complex, global organisation.
• Strong understanding of Public Markets and asset management business processes.
• Experience building, developing and leading high-performing teams of Business Analysts and Analysis & Design professionals.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Analysis & Design strategy for Public Markets, ensuring products, platforms and technology investments align with AMP standards and enterprise architecture principles.
• Define and evolve business capabilities, operating models and processes across Public Markets to align strategy, execution and technology outcomes.
• Translate business strategy into clear requirements, high level designs and delivery outcomes that create measurable business value.
• Partner with Product Leads, Engineering Leads and Architects to shape backlogs, govern solution design and ensure alignment with standards and objectives.
• Maintain engagement with engineering leadership and participate in planning, governance and architecture forums to keep analysis and design integrated with delivery.
• Drive simplification, standardisation and continuous improvement across investment processes and ways of working.
• Establish and continuously improve business analysis and solution design standards, methodologies and governance across Public Markets.
• Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders across Investments, Technology and Change to influence decisions and drive strategic outcomes.
