Job summary

OPUS at Ball Green Primary Academy is seeking an experienced education professional to lead the OPUS provision for pupils at risk of exclusion. You will oversee day-to-day management, line-manage staff and ensure safeguarding remains central to all decisions.

Working closely with schools, families and partner agencies, you will coordinate referrals, admissions and multi-agency plans to support reintegration or transition for pupils with complex needs.

Qualifications

• Extensive leadership experience in education or SEND settings.
• Experience managing staff and providing clear direction.
• Strong safeguarding knowledge and inclusion focus.
• Proven ability to coordinate multi-agency support for complex needs.
• Excellent communication with families, schools and agencies.

Responsibilities
