Job summary

Novartis UK is seeking a Director of AI Search and Visibility in London to lead SEO, GEO, and AI search strategy, shaping content discoverability across search engines, LLMs, and discovery platforms.

You will partner with Content, Web, and Omnichannel teams to ensure search-optimized content by design, define metrics, and drive compliant, best-in-class search experiences while building internal capability around AI search trends.

Qualifications

• 10–12 years of relevant experience in technology development.
• Strong experience with search engine optimisation.
• Experience working in Agile delivery models, including backlog management and sprint planning.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead the AI Search & SEO strategy across owned and earned channels.
• Establish and implement GEO principles to improve AI surface and reuse by systems.
• Optimize content structure, tagging, and taxonomy for machine readability and reusability.
• Partner with Content, Web, and Omnichannel teams to ensure search-optimized content by design.
• Define and track AI search visibility metrics across LLMs, surfaces, and rankings.
• Lead experimentation in AI search including prompt optimization and content frameworks.
• Collaborate with Data & Analytics to integrate search insights into omnichannel planning.
• Ensure compliance, governance, and brand standards in optimization activities.
• Build internal capability and awareness of AI search trends and risks.
