Job summary

Harnham, a fast-growing AI and data consultancy in Holborn, London, is seeking a senior leader to build and scale engineering functions for enterprise clients. The role combines strategic direction with hands-on engineering and data science leadership, working in a hybrid model four days in the office.

You will lead Data Engineering, Data Science, and Development teams, set standards, and collaborate with architects and delivery teams.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership experience within a consultancy or services environment.
• Experience building, scaling or transforming engineering functions.
• Background leading multidisciplinary Data Engineering and Data Science teams.
• Strong understanding of modern data platforms, cloud technologies and engineering best practice.
• Experience working with first-party customer data and analytics solutions.
• Ability to operate at both strategic and hands-on technical levels.
• Comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders and enterprise clients.

Responsibilities

• Building a scalable and repeatable engineering function.
• Leading Data Engineering, Data Science and Development teams.
• Driving engineering standards, processes and best practices.
• Supporting architects and delivery teams to improve project execution.
• Working directly with clients as a senior technical leader.
