Job summary

Sheffield City Council is recruiting a Service Manager to lead the 0-5 SEND Service, reporting to the Assistant Director, shaping policy and working with families, early years settings and partners to deliver inclusive support.

The role builds on strong experience in children and families services, understanding of Early Years Foundation Stage, SEND legislation and practice, and effective leadership of people, change and budgets. Flexible working is supported.

Responsibilities

• Leading the 0-5 SEND team and service development.
• Managing people, performance, budgets and resources.
• Using data and quality assurance to improve outcomes.
• Building strong partnerships and advising senior leaders and elected members.
