Job summary

HC-One is seeking a Head Housekeeper to lead the housekeeping team across our care homes. You’ll keep every area spotless, plan schedules, and uphold infection control standards while putting residents first.

You’ll be responsible for rota management, laundry oversight, ordering supplies, safeguarding and safety guidelines. We value kindness, organisation, and the ability to train and support staff.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping within care homes.
• Ability to lead a team and organise schedules.
• Knowledge of infection control and health & safety.
• Friendly, positive and kind approach in all interactions.

Responsibilities

• Managing the cleaning rota and daily schedules.
• Leading by example and supporting your team.
• Overseeing laundry for personal and shared items.
• Ordering cleaning products and supplies.
• Following and updating infection control procedures.
• Keeping records and completing cleaning checks.
• Ensuring safety and COSHH guidelines are met.
