Job summary

Marston’s is seeking a Head Housekeeper to lead our housekeeping team across our pub estate. You’ll ensure rooms and public areas are spotless and welcoming, and you’ll collaborate with reception to meet guest needs.

In this role you’ll manage daily room checks, stock replenishment, and uphold COSHH and health & safety standards to deliver a first-class guest experience. You’ll lead a diverse team, train colleagues, and drive continuous improvement in service quality and efficiency.

• Experience leading housekeeping teams in hospitality.
• Ensures compliance with COSHH and health & safety standards.
• Ability to collaborate with reception and other hotel departments.

Responsibilities

• Lead housekeeping team to maintain spotless rooms and public areas.

The Role

As Head Housekeeper your role will be making sure that you and your team shine at all times, just as our rooms do, to ensure our customers have a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. Liaising with reception is key so that any special requirements made by the guests are catered for. Daily room checks are pivotal along with making sure stocks of tea, coffee, and toiletries are replenished. Efficiency and multitasking are key as is an understanding of COSHH and following health and safety rules.
