Job summary

Hartford Care in Ramsgate is seeking a Head Housekeeper to lead the housekeeping team in a care centre. You will ensure a clean, safe environment and uphold high hygiene standards across the home.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and the ability to manage schedules and infection control processes, including COSHH. DBS check is required.

The Role

As a Head Housekeeper, you will ensure the home is kept clean and safe at all times while meeting hygiene and cleanliness standards, supervise and manage team members, and working together as a team to create a happy and caring atmosphere.

Whether you are dusting a resident’s room and reminiscing with them about their previous job, cleaning a bathroom, carrying out a direct observation on a member of staff, or completing an infection control audit, you will do so with care at the heart of everything you do.
