Job description

An UHNW household in Central London is seeking an experienced Head Housekeeper to join a fully staffed residence. The role requires working collaboratively within a team of three other housekeepers to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, organisation and care for the household.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform all private housekeeping duties, ensuring all areas remain immaculate, tidy, and well-maintained. Laundry, including washing, ironing, care of fine clothing and delicate fabrics. Care for luxury furniture, artwork and high-end finishes. Handle minor maintenance issues and liaise with external contractors for repairs and servicing. Assist with household errands as required. Work in a child-friendly environment and provide occasional support with young children if needed. Comfortable around dogs and able to assist with pet care when necessary. Maintain strong communication with the household and other staff members.

Requirements:

Extensive experience in private UHNW households. Exceptional housekeeping skills with a keen eye for detail and organisation. Fluent English with excellent communication skills. Physically fit and able to meet the demands of the role. Ability to manage household tasks independently and proactively. Experience in coordinating with contractors and overseeing minor household repairs. French and/or Spanish language skills are a plus.

5 or 6 days per week, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

£60,000 - £80,000, depending on experience and number of working days .
