Job summary
Stow Healthcare Group is seeking a Head Housekeeper to lead the housekeeping team, ensuring infection control, cleanliness, and attention to detail. You will manage stock, rotas, and the daily on-floor duties with your team to maintain a spotless environment for residents.
You will be a natural communicator with cleaning-team leadership experience, dedicated to high standards and a people-focused approach, interacting with residents during daily cleaning tasks.
Qualifications
- A natural communicator, you will benefit from having previous experience in a cleaning role, and preferably in leading a team.
- You will be passionate about high standards and confident in ensuring that your team help deliver these.
- Infection Prevention and Control will be high on your agenda, but you also need to be a people person and to enjoy the time you will spend interacting with residents each day as you clean their room and their home.

As Head of our Housekeeping team, you are fundamental to the smooth running of the home every day for our residents. Reporting to the Home Manager, you will ensure that you lead and inspire your team, promoting high standards of infection control, cleanliness and an eye for detail. You will feel comfortable in ordering and managing stock, managing rotas for your team and ensuring the home looks and smells spotless at all times. You will be working on the floor with your team, supporting them in their duties.
