Berenjak Mayfair is seeking an experienced Head Host to deliver world-class guest experiences and lead front-of-house operations at our flagship Mayfair restaurant. You will manage reservations, guest profiles, and collaborate with the reception and events teams to optimise service for premium guests.

The ideal candidate brings hands-on leadership in a quality restaurant, a warm hospitality approach, and a passion for developing skills within a growing restaurant group.

Qualifications

• Previous Head Host in a premium restaurant or members' club.
• Experience in a high-end restaurant environment.
• Strong hospitality standards and guest relations expertise.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming environment and memorable guest experiences for every guest.
• Support front of house team in day-to-day operations.
• Manage reservations, guest profiles and reporting tools to optimise service and drive repeat visits.
• Collaborate with Reception Manager and Reservations & Sales Manager on events strategy and large group bookings.

This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Head Host to play a key role in a dynamic & growing restaurant group with big plans ahead. You will be joining a driven and passionate team. Awarded a Michelin Bib Gourmand, Berenjak is an exciting group of Persian restaurants with four locations in the UK (Soho, Borough Market, Soho Farmhouse and Mayfair) and eight internationally (UAE, Qatar, LA and New York). The Location Berenjak Mayfair is the brand's flagship new opening located at 80 Duke Street, a moment's walk from Grosvenor Square in the heart of Mayfair. The design direction is inspired by Grandad's villa in the North of Iran; a space that feels homey and relaxed but also elegant and mature whilst the service style focuses on genuine, warm hospitality and memorable guest experiences. Guests can expect a mix of classic Berenjak classic Mazeh, Kababs and Khoresht with the addition of new elevated diverse regional Persian dishes. The beverage offering will draw a new focus to premium drinks options exclusively curated for the Duke Street location including new signature cocktails and an expanded wine selection. We're looking for an experienced Head Host to ensure a welcoming and engaging first impression and an exceptional guest experience. You will be delivering world-class standards and ensuring a seamless journey for our guests from start to finish. As Head Host, you will be responsible for:

• Creating an inviting environment & memorable experiences for every Berenjak guest that comes through our doors;
• Taking a hands on approach to your role and ensuring that you consistently support the front of house team in day-to-day operations;
• Managing reservations to leveraging guest profiles and reporting tools to optimise service and drive repeat guest visits. The ideal candidate would have expertise in Sevenrooms;
• Working seamlessly with our Reception Manager and Resersations & Sales Manager to drive our events strategy by maximising large group bookings and collaborations. Experience - Previous experience in a quality Restaurant desired, Previous experience as a Head Host in a premium restaurant or member's club;
• Warm and welcoming persona, along with a hands-on approach to work and impeccable attention to detail;
• Passion for hospitality and excellent knowledge of food and beverage;
• Eagerness to learn and develop your career within an award-winning restaurant group;
