Job summary

Haven is seeking an experienced Head Greenkeeper at Far Grange Park & Golf Club to lead course maintenance and raise turf quality. You will oversee the greenkeeping team, implement high-standards turf programs, and manage machinery and irrigation in close collaboration with the Director of Golf.

The role requires strong leadership, proven golf course management experience, and PA1/PA2/PA6 spraying qualifications. A proactive, communicative professional will thrive in this environment.

Position: Head Greenkeeper

Far Grange Park & Golf Club is looking for an experienced and motivated Head Greenkeeper to ensure the highest standards of course presentation, turf quality and maintenance are consistently achieved.

As Head Greenkeeper, You Will

• Lead and manage all aspects of course maintenance and presentation
• Oversee and support the greenkeeping team
• Plan and implement turf management programmes to the highest standards
• Manage machinery, irrigation, and maintenance schedules
• Work closely with the Director of Golf to enhance the overall golfing experience

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience in golf course management or a senior greenkeeping role
• Strong knowledge of turf care, machinery, and course maintenance practicesLeadership and team management skills
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities
• A proactive attitude and commitment to continuous improvement
• Recognised qualification in Sports Turf, Greenkeeping or a related discipline.
• PA1, PA2 and PA6 spraying qualifications – essential.
