Job description

Madisons are recruiting for a Head Gardener to get started on a permanent basis for a client of ours based in London.

Duties:

• Working within a leading landscape design company.
• Predominantly residential projects.
• Experience within garden maintenance – mowing, pruning, and planting, etc.
• Liaising with clients directly.
• Dealing with any on-site paperwork.
• Ordering materials.
• Overseeing the team on-site – able to lead the team.
• Adhere to the client's high expected standard of work.
• Excellent horticultural knowledge, from plant identification to pest identification and from pruning techniques to plant care.

Requirements:

• £35,000 per annum starting salary – subject to plant knowledge and training required.
• Immediate start available.
• Working hours – 7:45 am to 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday.
• Driving license preferred.
