Job summary

East Midlands Education Trust is seeking a dedicated Head Cook for Blidworth Oaks Primary School to lead the school kitchen and provide a nutritious lunchtime experience for pupils. This role is part-time, term-time only (39 weeks per year) with 15 hours per week, mainly Monday, Thursday and Friday.

You will work with the existing Head Cook, uphold high cleanliness standards, pass a full enhanced DBS check, and be eligible to work in the UK.

Qualifications

• Experience in school catering or food service preferred.
• Ability to lead a kitchen team and maintain high hygiene standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead school lunchtime service and meal preparation.
• Maintain cleanliness and HACCP standards.
• Collaborate with Head Cook and trust catering team.
