Aramark UK at Northwood Headquarters (HA6 3HP) seeks an outstanding Head Chef to lead the Officers' Mess and a kitchen team of about 10. You will oversee daily dining and high-profile functions, delivering quality, creativity, and events with a focus on excellence.

The role offers full-time hours (Mon-Fri 06:00-16:00) with 40 hours weekly, an annual salary of £41,158, free on-site parking, and a comprehensive benefits package including pension and holiday allowance.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a kitchen team of around 10 chefs and kitchen staff.
• Budgeting, cost control and menu development to boost quality and sales.
• Experience in a defence environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train and develop culinary and kitchen teams to deliver high-quality food.
• Coach staff in new techniques, procedures, equipment, and company standards.
• Maintain training records, performance data, and operational documentation.
• Drive innovation while maintaining financial efficiency and compliance.
• Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
