Job description

At Gather & Gather, we are known as one of the UK & Ireland's most distinctive workplace catering experts. We are passionate about great food and coffee, prioritizing our employees and customers in everything we do. We are currently recruiting for a Head Chef to join us in Watford.

Location:

Watford

Rate of pay:

£40,000 - £45,000 per annum

Working pattern:

40 hours per week, predominantly Monday - Friday, between 7am to 4pm

Key responsibilities
  1. Prepare and oversee all food preparation to the highest standard.
  2. Ensure timely food production for smooth customer service.
  3. Maintain availability of all necessary ingredients for menus.
  4. Develop and plan menus aligned with client and customer expectations.
  5. Be creative in menu planning, involving clients and customers.
  6. Uphold high standards of food quality and hygiene.
  7. Manage the kitchen team, overseeing 2-4 staff members.
  8. Provide feedback and coaching to team members.
  9. Ensure the team has up-to-date COSHH and Food Hygiene training.
