Head Chef role at Buxted Park Hotel, part of Hand Picked Hotels, leads the kitchen to deliver an exceptional culinary experience for guests in a luxury setting. Set within 312 acres of Sussex parkland, Buxted Park offers an inspiring environment to grow your hospitality career.

The role requires strategic kitchen leadership, menu design reflecting seasonal diversity, staff development, supplier relationships, and careful stock and cost control, with a 45-hour week over five days and a weekend

Qualifications

• Proven leadership of high-performing kitchens.
• Experience in luxury hospitality is preferred.
• Strong organisational and operational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of an exceptional culinary experience reflecting creativity and seasonality.
• Develop and mentor the culinary team through training and guidance; manage suppliers and costs.
• Create bespoke menus and maintain high standards of presentation and flavour.
