Job summary

Hand Picked Hotels at Buxted Park Hotel in East Sussex invites an experienced Head Chef to lead our luxury kitchen, design seasonal menus, and uphold exceptional quality for discerning guests.

You will mentor the kitchen team, manage operations, control costs, and foster a culture of service excellence. The role is full-time, 45 hours weekly, five days out of seven, with a competitive salary and KPI-based bonus.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to lead high-performing kitchens.
• Experience designing innovative, seasonal menus.
• Ability to train and develop culinary teams.
• Strong supplier relationships and cost management.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of a luxury culinary experience and oversee menu development.
• Mentor the culinary team through training, guidance and inspirational leadership; manage kitchen operations and costs.
• Full-time role, 45 hours per week, 5 days out of 7 including weekends on a rota.
