Job summary

Bowburn Manor, the new luxury care home from St Mary’s Care Group, is seeking a Head Chef to lead a high‑quality kitchen and dining experience. You will shape menus, mentor the kitchen team and set standards that define Bowburn Manor.

Work with residents to understand dietary needs, ensure HACCP and food safety, and deliver meals that delight daily. This is a rare opportunity to build a dining culture from the ground up with a supportive leadership team.

Qualifications

• Experience as Head Chef or Chef Manager in a luxury care home setting.
• Experience leading and developing catering teams.
• Strong knowledge of nutrition, allergens and dietary requirements including IDDSI and fortified diets.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences.
• NVQ Level 3 in Catering & Cookery or equivalent; Level 3 Food Safety & Hygiene.
