We’re looking for a Head Chef for our food-focused pub, the Grantley
Arms in Wonersh near Guildford. You’ll be creating dishes from
scratch, leading and developing the team in the kitchen, and looking after all
aspects of kitchen management. Our food vision is all about creating stunning
dishes from fresh, seasonal ingredients, and we support sustainable local
British farmers to ensure that only top-quality produce ends up on our
plates. We are a country pub that is in the heart of the community, but
we also welcome guests from across the county who love to visit us for a bite
to eat – we even have a private dining room for that VIP experience! In return,
we can offer a whole heap of opportunities to put your food at the forefront of
what we do – whether that’s by food lead events, to private bookings and
celebrations alongside support to grow your skills and career.
Situated on the outskirts of Guildford in the stunning village of Wonersh, we’ve been providing the locals with a place to come together for over 500 years. Our private dining room even used to be the old village bakery! Our amazing community-driven country pub has onsite parking as well as a reliable bus route between the towns of Guildford and Cranleigh.
