Care Concern Group's Chandlers Ford Care Home is seeking a Head Chef to lead the kitchen, deliver nutritious meals, and uphold high standards of presentation and food safety.

You will own menu planning, food preparation, stock control and budgeting, while developing a motivated team. This role offers consistent patterns, DBS support, uniform provided, and clear progression opportunities within a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds 706/1 and 706/2 or equivalent, or working towards.
• Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.
• Proven experience leading or managing a kitchen.
• Strong leadership and organisational skills.
• Good understanding of dietary requirements and food safety.
• A proactive, reliable and quality focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Lead kitchen operations from menu planning to food preparation.
• Manage stock control, orders, and budgets to minimise waste.
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards and dietary needs.
• Develop and lead a high-performing kitchen team.
