Job summary

Platinum Recruitment Consultancy in Woodbridge is seeking a Head Chef to lead a talented kitchen team while maintaining family-friendly hours. The role offers a £34,676 annual salary and a typical 42-hour week over five days with finishes around 8pm and no Christmas work.

You’ll manage rotas, training and food quality, ensuring hygiene and allergen controls are in place and that dietary requirements are met, while delivering tasty, safe meals.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Sous Chef or Head Chef in a mid-to-large scale dining environment.
• Experience with food mass production.
• Strong leadership, organisation and decision-making skills.
• Excellent food hygiene and allergen knowledge.
• City & Guilds 7061/2 or equivalent.
• Level 3+ Food Safety and Allergen Management qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Manage and motivate Chefs and Catering Assistants
• Organise rotas, objectives and training
• Deliver tasty, nutritious and safe meals
• Maintain excellent food hygiene and allergen standards
• Manage dietary requirements, including allergies and intolerances
