Job summary

Franco Manca is seeking a Head Chef to lead the kitchen, directing a team to deliver outstanding sourdough pizzas and dishes. You’ll ensure quality, consistency and high standards across all service periods while keeping operations smooth and efficient.

You’ll inspire and develop your team, maintain hygiene and safety, and work closely with the Restaurant Manager to create an exceptional guest experience for every visitor.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a kitchen team in a busy restaurant.
• Passion for Italian cooking with high quality standards.
• Ability to inspire and coach kitchen staff.
• Strong organizational skills and calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Be the master of the kitchen, leading the team to create top-quality pizzas and dishes.
• Take charge of kitchen operations and ensure every item meets our standards.
• Inspire and develop your team, growing their skills and passion for food.
• Manage food prep, stock control, hygiene and health & safety.
• Be hands-on, training the team and improving the kitchen on an ongoing basis.
• Work closely with the Restaurant Manager to deliver an exceptional guest experience.
