Job summary

Franco Manca is seeking a Head Chef to lead the kitchen, drive quality, and ensure smooth service across shifts. You will be hands-on, crafting pizzas and dishes while guiding your team to maintain high standards.

You’ll inspire growth, manage stock and hygiene, and work closely with the Restaurant Manager to deliver an outstanding guest experience in a vibrant, Italian-inspired setting.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a kitchen team in a busy restaurant environment.
• Strong passion for Italian cooking and quality control.
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Lead the kitchen team to produce high-quality pizzas and dishes.
• Ensure consistent cooking, presentation, and standards across service.
• Inspire and develop staff, maintain hygiene and safety standards.
• Oversee food prep, stock control, and kitchen operations.
• Collaborate with Restaurant Manager to deliver an exceptional guest experience.

• £14.40 – 18.40 per hour OTE (including service charge and delivery bonus - our data says you can earn between £1 to £4 per hour on top of your pay)

• Manage kitchen operations, from food prep and stock control to hygiene and health & safety.
• Be hands-on – whether you’re crafting pizzas, training your team, or finding ways to make the kitchen even better.
• Work closely with the Restaurant Manager to ensure smooth service and an exceptional experience for every guest.
