Job summary

Writhlington School is looking for a dynamic Chef Hub Manager to lead our busy kitchen team and oversee the multi-site catering production. You will drive high standards for our home site and supervise daily meal preparation and dispatch to local schools across our Trust.

The role requires experience as Head Chef, strong leadership and communication skills, and a proven ability to manage budgets, safety, and quality in a busy catering operation.

Qualifications

• Experience at head chef level with professional qualifications.
• Strong understanding of nutrition, allergens, HACCP and COSHH.
• Budget tracking and stock management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise and develop the kitchen and catering team.
• Oversee daily preparation, cooking and dispatch of meals across sites.
• Deliver nutritionally balanced menus with allergy considerations.
• Maintain hygiene, safety and regulatory compliance.
• Manage budgets, stock orders and monthly stock takes.
