Our client is looking for their next experienced Head Chef who will be able to raise their standards even further.
Our client's Head chef is moving on after years of service, and they are seeking a new Head Chef to continue maintaining their good reputation at this beautiful destination gastropub.
- The Head Chef will be responsible for:
- Menu creation, writing, and accurate costing aligned with the client's required Gross Profits.
- Building supplier relationships for locally sourced produce.
- Junior chef training and encouragement.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date HCCP records in line with hygiene laws and maintaining a 5-star Hygiene rating.
- Stock control and rotation.
- Able to work under pressure, maintaining a positive and calm attitude. This is a hands-on role, ensuring that every dish leaving the pass is well-presented and tastes excellent.
- This is a 5-day workweek, from Wednesday to Sunday, as the venue is closed for food on Monday and Tuesday.
- Cumulative holiday pay of 28 days per annum is offered.
- Tips included, approximately £3,000 to £5,000 per annum.
- Temporary accommodation is available until the successful candidate finds their own place.
