Head chef required for a production kitchen in North London, this role is mainly MONDAY to FRIDAY and daytime hours (7am to 530pm). It is accessible on the Piccadilly and Central lines . This is a production kitchen for meal prep meals that are ordered online and sent to customers' homes. They cook in small batches , to lock in the freshness for the customer and not mass produce . You will run the production with a team of yourself and 3 other chefs. The role is paid hourly at £15.50 - £16 per hour (around £43k a year over 5 days). As a head chef you will ensure the production side runs smoothly. you will ensure the team of 4 in the chef side runs smoothly, that the meals are cooked to the required standard and ready for the dispatch time. They send the meal preps around the UK and customers order it for the week. You will ensure the quality is maintained, the quality control is in place and all the laws are followed regarding food hygiene. This role will include all the standard head chef duties.
