Job summary

Luso Court Care Centre, part of Willinbrook Healthcare under Care Concern Group, seeks a Head Chef in Clapham to lead the kitchen team and deliver high quality meals for residents with complex nursing needs. You will plan menus, manage preparation, and ensure dietary requirements are met while maintaining top hygiene standards.

You will supervise staff rotas, stock management and records, ensuring efficient kitchen operations and compliance with safety regulations in a specialist care

Qualifications

• City & Guilds 706/1 and 706/2 or equivalent culinary qualification.
• Food Hygiene Certificate.
• Experience leading or supervising a kitchen team.
• Strong organisational and leadership skills.
• Ability to plan nutritious menus and manage kitchen operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the kitchen team and oversee preparation of high quality, nutritious meals for residents with complex needs.
• Plan balanced menus and ensure meals meet dietary requirements and preferences.
• Oversee stock management, deliveries and food storage; maintain records and monitor equipment.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and health and safety regulations; uphold high hygiene standards.
