About the Role:

Chartwells, part of Compass Group UK & Ireland, is the leading provider of catering and support services to Independent Schools in the UK. You will be part of a team supporting high-quality education by providing outstanding food and service to pupils and staff. Your role involves preparing food daily using fresh ingredients, focusing on enjoyment, taste, and healthiness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, organise, and direct food preparation and cooking, ensuring quality standards
• Take responsibility for food production with a hands-on approach
• Drive sales through menu planning, promotions, and supplier management
• Ensure food safety, HS, and COSHH compliance
• Implement and maintain food monitoring procedures for budget control and cost monitoring
