Job summary

Host Staffing is recruiting a Head Chef for a boutique country inn and estate events operation on a picturesque rural estate at the Hampshire/Wiltshire borders. You will take full creative control of the kitchen and estate events, leading service from à la carte to weddings and private functions.

The role offers creative autonomy, a competitive package including £60K base, £8K-£10K tronc, and £12K bonus, plus relocation accommodation and long-term growth potential.

Qualifications

• Proven Head Chef from a quality restaurant, Gastro pub, Hotel, or Country inn.
• Background cooking to 2 Rosette or Bib Gourmand standard.
• Passionate about sustainability and modern British cuisine.
• Strong leadership, organisation, and commercial skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all food operations - from à la carte service and Sunday roasts to private events, weddings, and country pursuits, showcasing seasonal, estate and local produce.
• Utilize estate ingredients to create truly provenance-driven menus.
• Lead kitchen team with strong organisational and leadership skills.

• An independently owned boutique country inn on a picturesque rural estate is seeking a talented and driven Head Chef to lead its kitchen and estate events operation.

• You'll oversee all food operations - fromà la carte service and Sunday roaststoprivate events, weddings, and country pursuits- showcasing the best ofseasonal, estate and local produce.
