Head Chef to lead the kitchen in our
small, family-run venue in the heart of Kirkbymoorside. It’s an intimate setting, focused on quality over quantity – perfect for someone who wants real
creative freedom and pride in what they plate up.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop & create a menu that would showcase seasonal and local produce that would be in line with the business ethos.
- Ensure consistent food quality and presentation exceeds guest expectation.
- Comply with all Health & Safety, Food Safety and COSHH Requirements
- Oversee stock management, food ordering & cost control.
- Manage & maintain an organised kitchen environment including maintaining kitchen equipment.
- Working with the owners of the business regarding menus, service, and all budgetary targets
- To make recommendations and planning for changes to the experience and service standards
Requirements:- Proven experience in a similar Head Chef or Senior Chef role
- Passion for local, seasonal ingredients and creating exciting menus
- Strong leadership, organisation, and time management skills
- Food Safety & Hygiene certification (minimum Level 2)
- Sound knowledge of Health & Safety compliance
- Access to own transport (due to location)
