Rate of Pay: Up to £40,000 basic salary PLUS Tronc (£43,000 OTE approx.), Generous Company Benefits, Training & Development

What you'll be doing as a Head Chef:
  • Ensure kitchen operations meet budgeted targets.
  • Lead and mentor a team of kitchen staff, including sous chefs, chef de parties, and commis chefs.
  • Maintain high standards of food quality and consistency.
  • Understand budget construction and influence profit and loss results.
  • Maintain control of expenditure at all times.
  • Complete and check par stocks of equipment monthly, reporting monetary value to the accountant.
  • Assist in budget preparation and control expenditure through vigilant procedures and price negotiation with suppliers.
  • Manage kitchen rotas and salaries to meet budgeted payroll forecasts.
  • Evaluate performance and product regularly to identify future challenges.
  • Ensure effective daily communication with Bistro and Meetings at the hotel.
