Job summary

Greene King is seeking a Head Chef to ensure the kitchen runs smoothly during busy service and to bring out the best in a team. You’ll drive high standards, train and manage staff, and lead by example to deliver great-tasting dishes.

You will maintain food safety, manage on-duty operatives, and foster a culture where quality and consistency are built into every plate served. Scotland-based role with pub environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a busy kitchen and managing a team.
• Ability to train and develop staff to exceed targets.
• Knowledge of food safety and allergen controls.
• Excellent English communication.

• Take the reins in the kitchen, whether you are making decisions or coming up with fresh ways to help the team run better together.
• Communicate clearly with your team in order to provide high-quality meals to customers on time.

• Sufficient spoken and written English to perform the role safely and understand allergen controls.
