Job summary

Urban Pubs & Bars in London is seeking an enthusiastic Head Chef to lead gastro pub kitchens across our estate. You will work with fresh ingredients and seasonal menus, delivering high-quality dishes with flair.

Ideal candidates have experience managing busy, high-volume kitchens, strong Health & Safety knowledge, and a track record in stock control and GP. You will lead and motivate teams and contribute to a dynamic, award-winning pub group.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate leadership in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Experience with fresh ingredients and seasonal menus.
• Strong Health and Safety knowledge and practice.
• Proven track record of managing kitchen stock and GP.
• Experience in high-volume kitchen environments.
• Excellent technical cooking skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to spot and resolve problems quickly and effectively.
• Confident communication skills to lead and develop teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead kitchen operations across the pub estate.
• Ensure consistent high-quality dishes and menu execution.
• Control stock, GP and waste, while maintaining budgeting discipline.
• Uphold Health & Safety standards and HACCP practices.
• Motivate, train and develop kitchen staff for performance and growth.

You Are:

• An enthusiastic, dynamic andqualified Head Chef who is ready for a new challenge.
• Able to demonstrate yourexperience of working with fresh ingredients and seasonal menus.
• Able to demonstrate experienceof working in a professional kitchen showing a clear understanding ofHealth and Safety.
• Able to show a proven trackrecord of managing the kitchen and controlling stock and GP.
• Someone with a background ofdealing with high volume.
• Able to show technical skilland attention to detail
• Able to spot and resolveproblems efficiently.
• Confident in your communicationskills and ability to lead and motivate their teams.
