Gorgeous neighbourhood restaurant and café from the team behind one of Hackney locals' favourite spots. This is a real community spot and a meeting of British caff culture & classics with regional Italian home style cooking. It doesn't get more East London than that.
The wonderful owner is looking for a Head Chef to run the kitchen, train and develop the small team, and to develop excellent seasonal Italian dishes alongside some British caff classics at breakfast/lunch. There is lots of autonomy to really evolve and take ownership of the menu to make it your own. Great if you're looking to make a name for yourself, as they're planning to support the new Head Chef with PR/Marketing if you're up for it.
This is perfect for someone who is a progressive Sous Chef or Head Chef who leads with a supportive management style and who is comfortable serving a consistent standard of food at high volume.
This is a 45-hour week, and they are open Weds - Sun. You can expect to typically work 4 evenings and 1 day shift, or 3 evenings and 1 double.
