Job summary

Platinum Recruitment Consultancy is seeking a Head Chef in Haslingden to lead the catering operation for residents. You will train and support the catering team, manage rotas, orders, stock and waste, and ensure nutritious meals that meet dietary needs while upholding high hygiene standards.

We're looking for experience in a similar care catering environment, strong leadership and communication skills, and an NVQ Level 3 in Food Preparation and Cooking or willingness to achieve it.

• Strong communication and team leadership skills.
• NVQ Level 3 in Food Preparation and Cooking, or willingness to achieve it.
• Good IT skills and the ability to learn new systems.
• Flexibility to work a rota that includes weekends.

Job description

• A 4-on, 3-off rota, working 40 hours per week

Key Responsibilities
