Federation of Sport is an innovative multi-concept venue blending a sports bar, esports lounge, event spaces and athletic experiences into one dynamic entertainment destination opening in Hull in 2025.

Role Overview

As the Head Chef, you will lead our culinary team in crafting an innovative and profitable Asian Fusion style menu complementing our high-energy sports bar atmosphere. In this vital role, you'll drive menu creativity, ensure exceptional food quality, maximise profitability, and uphold rigorous standards.

Responsibilities

• Control and direct the food preparation process and any other relative activities
• Construct menus with new or existing culinary creations ensuring the variety and quality of the servings
• Plan orders of equipment or ingredients according to identified shortages
• Arrange for repairs when necessary
• Remedy any problems or defects
• Be fully in charge of hiring, managing and training kitchen staff
• Oversee the work of subordinates
• Estimate staff’s workload and compensation
• Maintain records of payroll and attendance
• Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
• Foster a climate of cooperation and respect between coworkers

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Head Chef in a high-volume, fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Culinary degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Passion for sports and an understanding of the dynamic needs of a sports bar setting.
• Creative flair with a keen sense of current culinary trends.
