Job summary

Hiddenwell at Hoar Cross Hall, Staffordshire, is seeking a passionate Head Chef to lead its kitchen team in a hands-on role, cooking alongside the team and setting the standard for quality, service and teamwork daily.

You will manage the day-to-day running of the kitchen, ensure outstanding quality and efficiency, and create memorable dining experiences for guests while upholding HACCP and food safety standards.

Qualifications

• Have previous experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef ready to step up.
• Be a hands-on leader who enjoys developing and inspiring a team.
• Be a genuine passion for fresh, seasonal food and attention to detail.
• Be Calm, organised and confident during busy service.
• Have excellent knowledge of HACCP, COSHH and food safety legislation.

Responsibilities

• Leading by example - cooking, plating and delivering dishes to the highest standard.
• Supporting menu development using fresh, seasonal and locally sourced ingredients.
• Training, coaching and motivating your kitchen team to reach their full potential.
• Managing stock effectively, minimise waste and control food costs.
• Ensuring excellent food safety, hygiene and health & safety standards at all times.

Are you a passionate and experienced Head Chef who loves leading from the front?

We're looking for an inspiring leader to head up our kitchen team. This is a hands-on operational role, where you'll be cooking alongside your team, setting the standard for exceptional food, service and teamwork every day

You’ll be responsible for the smooth day-to-day running of the kitchen, ensuring outstanding quality, consistency and efficiency while creating memorable dining experiences for our guests

What You'll Be Doing

• Leading by example - cooking, plating and delivering dishes to the highest standard
• Supporting menu development using fresh, seasonal and locally sourced ingredients
• Training, coaching and motivating your kitchen team to reach their full potential

Additional Information

• Working 5 out of 7 days a week
• 45-hours per week
• Full flexibility is key as you will be expected to work as and when necessary to meet the needs of the team and the business. This includes evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays

• Annual salary: £48667.50
