Job summary

Fuller, Smith & Turner is seeking a dynamic Head Chef for The Grove Lock pub. Lead the kitchen, develop seasonal menus, and drive exceptional dining experiences on the Union Canal’s edge.

You will manage a busy kitchen, mentor the team, and uphold rigorous food safety and quality. This role offers live-in potential and a pathway to showcase culinary creativity within Fuller’s portfolio.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a kitchen team and delivering high quality meals.
• Strong communication with front-of-house and suppliers.
• Solid understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.

Responsibilities

• Take full control of the kitchen operations and menu direction.
• Lead and mentor the kitchen team to maintain high standards.
• Develop menus using seasonal, local ingredients and technique.
• Ensure consistent service during peak times with composure and clarity.
• Uphold hygiene, safety, and quality across all food preparation.
