Job summary

Grosvenor Casinos in Greater London is seeking a Head Chef to lead our kitchen, ensuring smooth operations and delivering high-quality dining experiences.

You will oversee day-to-day activities, coach a team, maintain health and safety standards, and take ownership of food and beverage service to drive consistency and excellence. This role includes night shifts and weekend work in a 24/7 casino environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Head Chef or Sous Chef.
• Solid stock control, ordering and stocktake analysis.
• Background in innovative menu design and creation.
• Experience leading a team and building a high-performing culture.
• Minimum Level 3 food safety qualification (current or expired).

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day kitchen operations in a 24/7 casino environment.
• Coach and motivate the kitchen team to perform at a high level.
• Maintain health & safety standards to protect staff and guests.
• Own food and beverage service, driving consistency, quality and operational excellence.

As a Head Chef at Grosvenor Casinos, you'll play a key leadership role, ensuring smooth kitchen operations and delivering high-quality dining experiences.

You'll oversee day-to-day operations, coach and motivate your team, and maintain health and safety standards to protect both staff and guests.

You'll take ownership of food and beverage service, driving consistency, quality, and operational excellence on every visit - helping us achieve our mission to be the UK's most loved casinos.

Skills & Experience Needed

• Proven experience as a Head Chef or Sous Chef.
• A solid understanding of stock control, ordering, and analysing stocktake results.
• Demonstratable background in innovative menu/design & creation.
• Experience of leading a team and building a high performing culture.
• Minimum level 3 food safety (either current or expired).

Please be advised that this role operates within a 24/7 casino environment and will require flexibility to work night shifts and weekends.

Candidates must be 18 years of age or older and have the legal right to work in the UK.
