Job summary

Berberè Pizzeria - Kentish Town in London is seeking an established Head Pizza Chef to lead a busy kitchen. You will oversee health and safety, ensure pizza quality, and manage orders and the kitchen rota.

You must speak conversational English, learn quickly, and contribute to a vibrant, quality-focused team. We offer a competitive hourly rate with tron, free organic sourdough pizza on shift, staff discounts, training, and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Good knowledge of health and safety.
• Have a good level of conversational English.
• Demonstrate a good working knowledge of food and cooking techniques.
• Show you can learn quickly and make our pizza perfectly in a short period of time.
• Display high attention to service standards and detail.
• Able to manage kitchen orders, forecast, and organise the kitchen staff rota.
• Legally work in the UK - note visas will not be issued for this role.

Today, we manage 26 pizzerias: 21 across Rome, Milan, Turin, Bologna, Florence, Verona, Modena, and Rimini, and 5 in London, located in the vibrant neighborhoods of Clapham, Kentish Town, Tottenham Court Road, Marylebone and Westfield Stratford!

We are looking to hire an established Head Pizza Chef!

You will need to:

• Good knowledge of health and safety;
• Have a good level of conversational English (and ability to learn essential English for safety training);
• Demonstrate a good working knowledge of food and cooking techniques;
• Show you can learn quickly and make our pizza perfectly in a short period of time;
• Display high attention to service standards and detail;
• Able to manage kitchen orders, handle forecasting, and organise the kitchen staff rota;
• Legally work in the UK - Note that you must live in the UK prior to application as we will not issue any visas for this role
