Reporting to: CEO

Role Overview

As Head Chef, you will be responsible for leading all culinary operations, driving food quality, consistency, and innovation while managing costs and developing a high-performing kitchen team. You will play a central role in shaping the restaurant's identity, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and maintaining the highest standards of food safety and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring smooth service and exceptional food quality at all times.
  • Develop, maintain, and execute menus that align with the restaurant's concept and commercial objectives.
  • Ensure consistency in food preparation, presentation, and portion control.
  • Manage food costs, GP targets, wastage, and stock control effectively.
  • Recruit, train, develop, and manage the kitchen brigade, including rotas, appraisals, and discipline.
  • Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and health & safety compliance.
  • Work closely with the General Manager and senior team to align kitchen and business strategy.
  • Establish strong relationships with suppliers and oversee ordering and deliveries.
