A new opportunity has arisen for a superstar Head Chef to lead the team at a stunning gastropub in Glastonbury called The George & Pilgrims. It is well known for its beautiful standard of fresh and seasonal British food, and the opportunity for a new Head Chef to join the team.

The George & Pilgrims is a stunning pub with a beautiful restaurant & bar area and we are incredibly proud of the offering. It also has 14 hotel rooms, all located within its beautiful 15th-century building. It boasts an amazing standard of chef-led fresh menus, based on local provenance. The core menu includes award-winning, locally sourced British gastro-pub fare, and the ideal Head Chef will continue this high standard of cookery. The rest of the team are eager to learn and follow the new direction laid out by their new kitchen lead.

There are several exciting aspects of this role: an opportunity to influence, the trust to run the kitchen as you see fit, and the chance to progress within a growing company like Red Cat Independent Pubs, which owns over 35 pubs across the country. The salary is up to £42,000 plus monthly and quarterly bonuses. An excellent live-in accommodation is available, ideal for re-locators who want to live in the vibrant town of Glastonbury.
