• NVQ qualification ou équivalent requis.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Head Chef to lead our team.

You will be responsible for managing the food operation at a busy call centre, overseeing a team of 6, including a commis chef, and working closely with the location manager. The site serves 600-1000 people in a 24-hour period, with 90-130 hot meals at lunch and popular breakfast options. This role is ideal for a sous chef aiming to step into a head chef position.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Head Chef to make a mark in the food service industry and set new standards in workplace hospitality.

Job Description

WHAT WILL KEEP YOU BUSY:

• Plan, prepare, cook, and present food to the required standards
• Enhance the company’s reputation for excellent food and service
• Control portion sizes and monitor waste
• Manage supplies, stock takes, and food rotation
• Maintain records related to food production and supplier info
• Ensure compliance with Health and Safety and Food Safety standards
• Set objectives and oversee daily kitchen operations
• Assess employee performance and identify training needs
• Hold regular team meetings to communicate targets and standards

Qualifications

• Good secondary education
• NVQ qualification or equivalent
• Progressive catering experience
• Basic and Intermediate Food Hygiene Certificates
