Job description

We're currently recruiting an ambitious Head Chef to help us create exceptional food experiences for Eurest on a part-time basis, contracted to 31.75 hours per week.

Role Overview

Shift Pattern

• Monday: Full-time (Days)
• Tuesday: Full-time (Days)
• Wednesday: Full-time (Days)
• Thursday: Full-time (Days)
• Friday: Mornings
• Saturday: Off
• Sunday: Off

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing delicious, high-quality food that delights clients and customers
• Identifying opportunities to improve food service
• Creating a positive kitchen environment where your team feels welcomed and supported
• Delivering our tasty food concepts to customers
• Representing Compass Group UK&I and maintaining a positive brand image
• Managing food orders, stock control, and reducing food waste
• Overseeing kitchen cleaning to ensure hygiene standards
• Managing budgets and achieving financial targets
• Ensuring compliance with Food Handling & Hygiene standards
• Adhering to Health & Safety regulations

Ideal Candidate

• Possesses a City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent
