Job summary

The Hoxton Shepherd’s Bush is seeking a Head Bartender to lead the Chet’s team, crafting a fun, welcoming bar environment in a Thai-American comfort food venue in West London. You will drive service standards, mentor staff, and shape our bar concepts to stay ahead of trends.

We are looking for someone with proven leadership and strong wine and cocktail knowledge, who thrives in hospitality and enjoys making guests feel valued.

We are looking for a Head Bartender to join the Chet’s team - a Thai-Americana spot combining the fragrant flavours and smoky textures of Thailand and the surrounding region with comforts from the classic American diner in the heart of Shepherd’s Bush.

Job Description

What you’ll do…

• Lead the bar team in creating a fun and relaxed atmosphere where guests come to wind down and enjoy themselves
• Be creative and share ideas to develop our menu – play a part in innovating our bar concept and staying on (and even ahead) of trends
• Know your product and systems inside out
• Lead your team by example, driving service standards that strive for the best for the guest; encouraging your team to grow and develop, the Hox way

Qualifications

What we’re looking for…

• A natural at leading and managing others, you lead by example and create an environment where your team can be their best self
• Previous Head Bartender or Bartender experience, ready for a step up with great wine & cocktail knowledge
• Individuals. You’re looking for a place where you can be you; no clones in suits here
• Passion for hospitality – whether that’s a drink, a meal, an event or a bed for the night
• You’re all about having a positive impact on the people you interact with, leaving them with a memorable experience
• You’re not precious. We leave our egos at the door and help get stuff done
