The Role
AtHoar Cross Hall, we pride ourselves on providing incredible service and amemorable experience for every single guest. We are seeking a dynamic andmotivated Head Bartender to join our award-winning team and contribute to ourcontinued success.
As HeadBartender, you will play a key role overseeing all aspects of the operations ofour bars which includes crafting unique drink menus for our guests to enjoy,managing the bar staff and stock levels, and ensuring our high levels ofservice are maintained.
Yourresponsibilities
- Developingand curating an exciting and innovative drink menu that reflects current trendsand appeals to our diverse clientele
- Providingguests with a personalised service, recommend drink selections, and ensure amemorable experience
- Monitoringand managing stock levels, order supplies, and reduce wastage to maintain costefficiency
- Developingand preparing high-quality cocktails, including the creation of prebatcheddrinks, house-made syrups, infusions, and garnishes
- Overseeingthe cleanliness, organis ation, and safety of the bar area. Ensure compliancewith all health, safety, and alcohol regulations
- Leadingand motivating the bar staff, ensuring a cohesive and efficient team. Providetraining and mentorship to ensure all staff meet the high standards expected
- Overseeingthe maintenance and cleanliness of the bar's cellar, ensuring optimal storageconditions for all beverages. This includes changing barrels pipe cleaning
Personal Specification
- Have previous experience in a supervisoryrole within the bar or hospitality industry
- Haveextensive knowledge of mixology, spirits, wines, and beers
- Haveexcellent leadership and communication skills
- Havethe ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Haveexcellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Haveexperience with large volume covers
- Havefood Safety Training
- Haveknowledge of health and safety regulations related to food and beverage service
Shift Pattern
- Full-timecontract
- 37.5 hoursper week, working 5 out of 7 days
- Fullflexibility is key as you will be expected to work as and when necessary tomeet the needs of the team and the business such as working evenings, weekends,and Bank Holidays
