Job summary

Iconic Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Head Bartender for 11 Cadogan Gardens in London. You will lead the Chelsea Bar, Hans Bar & Grill and Drawing Room, delivering unforgettable drinks and guest experiences from breakfast through dinner.

As Head Bartender you’ll ensure staff are trained on products, maintain flagship lounges, and cost cocktails in line with brand standards, while contributing to a premium guest journey across our Relais & Chateaux properties.

Responsibilities

• Run the Chelsea Bar, Hans Bar & Grill and Drawing Room & Lounges in the absence of the Deputy Food & Beverage Manager and Food & Beverage Manager.
• Welcome guests promptly and take orders, showing integrity and being intuitive to guests’ needs.
• Answer guest queries in a timely and efficient manner with excellent product knowledge.
• Keep lounges, the Host and Reception areas neat and tidy at all times.
• Provide product knowledge training and sales training to F&B colleagues to maximise sales discreetly and professionally.
• Create cocktails (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) in line with brand standards and ensure proper costing.

As Head Bartender of the Food and Beverage Team at 11 Cadogan Gardens - one of two Relais and Chateaux property in London - you are the reason why our Guests keep coming back for more. The Head Bartender work as part of a team to impress our Guests, creating unforgettable experiences and exceeding expectations from breakfast right through dinner, to ensure that every guest wants to return.

ou will be a team player, able to deal with the pressure of working in a busy operation in 11 Cadogan Gardens Hotel's Hans' Bar And Grill & The Chelsea Townhouse's Drawing Room,striving for quality and perfection in every single drink.

Below are some of the duties of the Head Bartender across 11 Cadogan Gardens & The Chelsea Townhouse;

1. Responsible for the running of the Chelsea Bar, Hans Bar & Grill and Drawing Room & Lounges in the absence of the Deputy Food & Beverage Manager and Food & Beverage Manager.
2. To ensure guests are welcomed as soon as possible and orders taken. Showing integrity and being intuitive to the guests needs.
3. To be confident in answering any guest queries in a timely and efficient manner demonstrating excellent product knowledge.
4. To take pride and ensure all Lounges, the Host and Reception areas are kept neat and tidy at all times.
5. To ensure F&B colleagues have full product knowledge training and sales training in order to maximise sales in a discreet and professional manner.
6. To create cocktails (both alcoholic and non alcoholic) in line with our 11 Cadogan Gardens & The Chelsea Townhouse brand standards and ensuring that these are effectively costed.
